ALLvanza is encouraged to see the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) “light touch” approach to broadband regulations affirmed by today’s appeals court decision. It is essential that we do everything within our power to ensure there is nothing that hinders our country’s progress toward full and equal deployment and adoption of broadband resources.
That said, the permanent solution is still the in the hands of Congress and ALLvanza urges Congress to work together in a bipartisan way to reach this solution for the good of all Internet users. The solution should be truly bipartisan, newly developed and not a reliance on outdated regulatory policy such as Title II. ALLvanza stands ready to continue to work with Congress to inform them about the impact of the permanent solution on underserved communities, with the hope of identifying and executing on that solution in the near future.
